    Cobalt carbonate is a red monoclinic crystal or powder. Toxic, irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. It is mainly used as a mineralizer, catalyst, pigment for camouflage coatings, feed, micro-fertilizer, ceramics and raw materials for the production of cobalt oxide.

Application

    Mainly used for the preparation of cobalt chloride, cobalt sulfate, cobalt oxide, metal cobalt and cobalt naphthenate. Also used as color changing pigments, glass pigments, ceramics, feed trace element additives and trace element fertilizers. Used in the manufacture of cobalt oxide, it is a raw material for manufacturing a positive electrode material for lithium batteries. The ceramic industry is used as a colorant for the manufacture of cobalt salts and the coloration of porcelain. Used as a mineralizer in the mining industry. The organic industry is used to make catalysts, camouflage coatings and chemical temperature indicators. Used as a trace element fertilizer in agriculture. Used as an analytical reagent in analytical chemistry. 

Storage: Store at a ventilating and dry place, prevent heat and damp. Do not store with acids and liquid ammonia together.
